Turkish Aerospace (TUSAŞ) is now accepting applications for the 2026-2027 term of LIFT UP, its Industry-Focused Undergraduate Capstone Projects Programme. The programme gives final-year undergraduates the opportunity to carry out their capstone projects on aerospace and space topics proposed by TUSAŞ, together with an industry advisor and an academic advisor.
Project topics are published at liftup.tai.com.tr during the application period, and teams may choose only from the listed topics. Depending on their scope and needs, projects receive budget support of 50,000 TL to 200,000 TL. The budget can be used for consumables, service procurement, academic events and other operational expenses. Students are also provided with a support letter for applications to TÜBİTAK 2209-B, the Industry-Oriented Undergraduate Research Projects Support Programme.

The programme started in 2020-2021 with 80 topics and 100 students.
ELIGIBILITY
Applications are made by teams of 3 to 5 final-year undergraduate students.
The average of the team members' cumulative GPAs must be at least 2.70 out of 4.00.
Students and academic advisors from different departments and universities may join the same team.
The project does not have to be linked to the department's capstone project course.
Students who plan to apply can review the project topics, form their team, choose an academic advisor and then complete their application.

APPLICATION DOCUMENTS
Documents are uploaded to the application system digitally. One letter of intent is prepared on behalf of the team. Printouts from e-Devlet or the student information system are sufficient.
