Dear Students,
The Computer Engineering Department will conduct a General Assessment Exam to evaluate your progress throughout your undergraduate studies. This exam aims to provide valuable insights into your learning progress and assist the department in improving its teaching methods. It will encompass a broad spectrum of topics from all undergraduate courses across all semesters.
Here are the key details:
- Date & Time: The exam is scheduled for Friday, October 27th, from 10:00 to 12:00.
- Format: The exam will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions with single correct answer, covering most of your undergraduate courses.
- Location: The exam will be conducted via computers in your assigned lab. Please refer to the provided list to find your designated lab. (List can be found in AU/CSE - Undergraduate in MS Teams)
- Platform: The exam will be administered online via the Akademik Sınav Otomasyon Sistemi (ASOS). Ensure you have your login credentials for ASOS. If you’re not familiar with ASOS, you may find instructions on how to use it here (Video).
- Grading: The exam results will contribute to the final grade for the following courses:
- 1st year: Introduction to Computer Science
- 2nd year: Data Structures
- 3rd year: Seminar
- 4th year: Senior Design Project
Please note that participation in this exam is mandatory for all undergraduate students except those in their language preparation year.
